xSA (Spend Analysis) POC  |

Corporate
procurement organizations are charged with
securing products and services of the best
quality at the lowest possible cost for their
operations. To ensure that they are consistently
able to accomplish these objectives, procurement
executives at innovative companies are embarking
on a spend analysis initiative. Spend analysis
is the process of determining what is being
spent, with whom and for what. SAP’s
new product xSA (Spend Analysis Composite
Application) enables procurement executives
to gain such visibility.
Since xSA is a new product from SAP, most
customers are looking for answers to basic
questions about xSA. These include:

What are the capabilities of xSA?
•
Does xSA solution meet my requirements?
•
How easy is it to use?
•
Should I go ahead and invest in xSA?
To help customers answer these questions,
Bristlecone has created an Accelerated xSA
Proof-of-Concept (POC) program. Bristlecone
takes purchase order and invoicing data from
the customer’s SAP system from the last
six months, uses the data to deploy a POC
of xSA in an on demand model within four weeks
and then makes the xSA system available to
them for four weeks to test and try it.
As a result, customers are able to answer
their questions about xSA in about eight weeks
and make an informed decision.
