With traditional supply chains evolving into
supply networks, close collaboration between
an organization and its suppliers becomes
increasingly critical. Successful collaboration
starts with making sure that everyone has
clear visibility into current inventory, forecast/consumption,
shipments, commitments and other related information.
Supply Chain collaboration solutions enhance
visibility and increase the velocity and accuracy
of information flow within the supply network

networks. SAP Supplier Network Collaboration
(SNC) enables organizations to share such
information. However deployment of SAP SNC
is an involved and resource intensive process.
Bristlecone’s Accelerated SNC solution
trims the deployment time by 30% to 50% for
eight pre-packaged replenishment processes
including Purchase Orders, PO Release, Supplier
Management Inventory, Dynamic Replenishment
and Contract Manufacturing replenishment process.
IN addition, Bristlecone has developed several
practical extensions to SNC which are available
to its Accelerated SNC clients. These extensions
include:

Provide EDI integration for non-SAP ERP environments,
utilizing
SAP XI. This allows our clients to use SAP
SNC as a gateway
when they have a combination of SAP and non-SAP
manufacturing
systems.
•
Support for manufacturers who do not get ASNs
from some of their
suppliers, but want to ensure that SNC information
is
always current.
•
Extend SNC for organizations in the high technology
industry
that have specific requirements such as displaying
manufacturer’s part number, flagging
price variance etc.
•
Enable synchronization with Microsoft Excel
to provide
manufacturers, generating a large number of
Purchase Orders,
an ability to manage more effectively through
spreadsheets
rather than through individual SNC transactions.
