Supply Chain System Roll-out and support
for Unilever Asia
The Challenge:
Unilever had set an ambitious growth target
to become a predominant global player in the
consumer packaged goods segment in the Asia
Pacific region. To facilitate this, Unilever
decided to use the SAP Supply Chain Planning
solution to work with various disparate systems.
A major challenge faced by Unilever was to
set up a common business process across countries
in the Asia Pacific region and to ensure that
the system received uninterrupted support
for smooth functioning of the supply chain
process.To meet this challenge, Unilever needed
a reliable partner that would roll out the
system to various countries in the region
and provide support to APO users across the
Asia-Pacific region as countries went live
on the application.
