Apparel
and Footwear Industry |
With
brand proliferation and shift in power to
retailers, the manufacturers of global Apparel
and Footwear brands are trying to differentiate
through sophisticated design and supply chain
capabilities. We have been working with Apparel,
Footwear and Style Goods (AFS) companies like
Nike, Adidas and Fossil to help them attain
these capabilities. Our involvement with AFS
companies like Nike and others for the last
5 years have allowed us to build deep domain
expertise in this industry.
Some of the recent engagements we have executed
in the Apparel & Footwear Industry include:
|
|
- Demand Planning assessment at Adidas-Salomon:
Bristlecone provided the necessary expertise
to Adidas-Salomon in evaluating Adidas’
plans for implementing a Demand Planning
solution for its European operations.
- eCommerce capabilities at Fossil: Bristlecone
assisted with the development of Fossil’s
B2B and B2C eCommerce capabilities. We
helped design the interface architecture
for connecting the web front end with
the SAP backend infrastructure thus enabling
business process threads like “order
to cash” and “procure to pay.”
- Planning solution at Nike: Bristlecone
developed and deployed planner DA and
Supply Chain Policy Manager, two composite
pre-configured applications that allowed
Nike to enforce higher level supply chain
policies without having to deal with voluminous
SKU Level demand and supply information.
The composite apps leveraged Nike’s
existing infrastructure including the
ERP and SCM systems.
