- Enabling Strategic Sourcing at a Global
Aerospace Company: Through our expertise
in master data management, we enabled
the client in their strategic sourcing
initiative to cleanse data related to
commodities, consolidate part data and
enrich data with multiple attributes for
over 370,000 parts. Through our efforts,
the client has been able to standardize
part nomenclature, perform effective spend
analysis, reduce maverick buying, and
obtain visibility into excess inventory
and stock across multiple sites.
- Nestlé USA was seeking to improve
supply and distribution planning by implementing
a planning solution that supported constrained
capacity and material supply and distribution
planning. The business further wanted
an increase in the effective utilization
of assets (Food Processing lines) with
better changeover planning. This requirement
was accentuated by the need to effectively
manage the “freshness” for
short shelf life products. Bristlecone
delivered an integrated planning and execution
environment for Nestle that includes one
of the most complex SAP Supply Network
Planning (SNP) Optimizer implementations
anywhere.
- A fortune 500 manufacturer of silicone
products to a multitude of industries
including Automotive, Construction and
Paints & Coatings wanted to implement
a Globally Optimized solution, to their
complex Supply Chain to improve customer
service levels while reducing costs and
working capital investment. Bristlecone
implemented a consensus forecasting system
as well as Supply Network Planning (SNP)
Optimizer for tactical level sourcing
and pre-build planning.
