Bristlecone Inc., Announces a major SAP APO
service contract Nestle USA, Inc,.
SANTA CLARA, CA, April 30, 2001 - Bristlecone,
Inc., a business process and technology consulting
company, announced today that Nestlé
USA, Inc., the United States affiliate of
the world's largest food company, has selected
Bristlecone to implement SAP Advanced Planner
and Optimizer (SAP APO)TM at Nestlé
USA's headquarters and associated business
units.

APO and proven success in previous SAP implementations
will add value to our company-wide SAP implementation,"
said Mr. Richard Ramage, Vice President of
Supply Chain at Nestlé USA.
SAP APO builds on the SAP business framework
to improve information flow by incorporating
real-time collaborative decision support,
advanced planning, and optimization into the
SAP R/3 System. SAP APO uses a powerful memory
resident analytical engine and highly specialized,
highly configurable data objects that offer
demand planning, supply network, planning
and deployment, production planning and detailed
scheduling, and global available-to-promise
services.
